My friends and I are also looking for organized people to play DOTA against every once and a while. When we are winning in public games, people just leave and that starts a chain reaction of leavers. We don't know how good we will be against another clan, but we are getting sick of games that end in under 20 minutes.
If you want to play here are some B.net names on West. If you don't message me (the top name) then just tell them you play WoW and I told you to talk to them.

Is there a preferred server for DOTA? My friend argues that West is where the better players are and that's where the asians play. We go to college in Philly but play on West.
Oh and I don't think tonight will be a good night because this is our last week of classes. Maybe some time this week when we take a study break or next week during reading days. During the summer we will all have more time.

Are your names on b.net the same as your names on here?

US East has a chatroom and a game-announcing bot put there by TDA, the clan that created and maintains the map. They have a working ruleset and a shitlist, so you rarely get leavers in their games.

After they got peon ban back.. yes. Few weeks ago it was terrible.

The sub-channel, Clan Tda1, has a peon banner.
Edit: You can also get a background script and packet-checker that auto-detects shitlisted people and announces it to any game they join that you are in. Quite handy.
FYI: Hiten is shitlisted! OLOLZ!

I'm s1nt0r, with one and zero. The others have variations of their regular names. You can find them in the Nurfed channel if they are on and not in a game.

Actually, as previously states, DotA holds a clan together during the hard times.

Defense of the Ancients
It's a Warcraft 3 mod that puts two teams of 5 heroes against each other. A lot of WoW players that like PvP and Warcraft play it. Look at www.dota-allstars.com and www.dota-allstars.info
Another question for people who have a regular team they play with. Do you usually play online in public games or do you have other teams you play against?

We generally play 'in-house' with 10 Nurfed players but as of late we've been reaching out and playing against a few other wow guilds.

ahh, well, in this case it wasn't.
people on nurfed vent understand, and i prolly shouldn't have brought it up here because other people wouldn't understand the lame inside joke. Sorry about that.
no need to up my post count. post counts don't matter when i just call Tiv for UI issues :D
