What is the best way of making money in WOW?

You have to be level 5, then go to the main cities in your area and talk to a guard. They can give you directions to the trainers for the various professions.[/i]

You need to be lvl 5 for apprentice in the crafting skills, the gathering skills (mining, skinning, herbalism) don't have level reqs. on the different levels of profession.

In my opinion mining/skinning combined is most likely the most profitable way to go. Or perhaps herbalism/skinning, but not herbalism/mining. You can only have 1 form of tracking up at a time, so if you have find minerals on, you'll miss out on herbs, and vice versa.
