Blasted Lands Dragon

Myself and some guildies were in the blasted lands last night. We were getting some people caught up so we could do the defiler tonight. Anyways we were down by the dark portal killing those slave guys when we saw this big dragon. I forget his name and can't look it up on thott. (I am at work and they have it blocked.) There was only 4 of us in group. 2 lvl 60 hunters, lvl 58 Shaman, and me lvl 56 Priest. Anyways we saw it said boss and we were like what the hell lets try to kill him..... Big mistake. We ended up getting him down to 90%. Both pets died and then the shaman died. The dragon decided to come after me. He hit me for 1200 and 1700 none crits....

Anyways just wondering what it takes to kill him. Group wise I mean. And if anyone has done it. Is it worth even trying to kill him?

Teremus the Devourer. He drops 3-5 flawless spheres.

5-10 can kill him rather easily, the main trick to him is he does an aoe lifesteal so the more people you bring the more life he gets back each time he does it. Also does a knockback on the tank so make sure tank has his back to the wall and is ready to taunt when it happens.

All in all its a fun fight, I really wish Blizzard had added some more mobs such as Teremus with long respawns, that take more than 5 ppl to take down, and actually have some unique/worthwhile loot.

Yeah I think we did it with 6 the last time.

we try not to take more than 8 at a time. his aoe life leach is a bitch to deal with when you bring in a huge group. doable with 5, recommend 6-8.
