Lets run a comparison and get some feedback.
Waterwalking - 10 min duration
Can be cast on others
Requires Reagent
Breaks when you take any dmg
- You can walk on water only (no longer on lava as you used to be)
Levitation - ?? min duration
Self Only
Breaks when you take any dmg
- You can walk on any liquid (including lava), slow fall, and reach high objects (samophlange quest)
So the big difference is that Leviation offers more, but is self only. On the other hand Water walking offers less options and can be used as a party buff. Why then does waterwalking have a reagent? This is going to be a HUGE money sink. I think this is completely and utterly uncalled for, even in a PvE application you will go poor maintaining waterwalking. If a fish in the water hits you (such as in Loch Modan, or STV) or any mob for that matter, you lose waterwalking, fair enough. But now you have to consume something to get it back?
I don't honestly care which way the change is made, but one of the two rules needs to be removed. Either no reagent and it breaks from dmg, or it doesnt break and costs a reagent.
Any care to agree or disagree on this? I mean this is just foolish. And for this change, I thank the alliance whiners and their buddy Gfraizer. I am not normally one to be cynnical, but this is just crap.
