/aid command [Archive] - Nurfed Forums

Does anyone know anything about an /aid command? I was in a raid recently and one of the leaders would use this command, which would basically make me assist him. For the life of me I have not been able to recreate that function on my own. Just thought I'd ask here before I ventured over to fohguild.com.

make a macro /assist [name of person here] it can be eddited for different raids people

Do you use Cosmos? I think Cosmos has something built in for Cosmos users like this.

Yeah people are saying assist me when I play with them. Do they mean I should jsut target who they are targeting?

Yes, "assist on soandso" etc can mean attack what they're attacking. "Assist me for target" could mean they want you to assist them so you have that mob targeted on a pull to poly, offtank whatever.

I think he is talking about a forced assist that that a raid leader or something can use to make people assist on his target. Its almost definitely a shared UI thing (aka only works on people who use the same UI or addon)

Target them and hit F.

It assists, and it'll assist off Mobs too.. ;\
