End game warrior weapon/armor wishlist

i am right now protec speced but will be respeccing come battlefields

what are some good end game weapon goals for PvE and PvP and why

right now i have

Weapons
2h - Princess Scepter (till i get my reaper)

1h + Shield - Crest of Supremacy - Axe from Tomb of 7 in BRD with life steal

what are some serious goals (can be easily got) and then some long term goals i.e. best warrior epics

i know if i get barons epic sowrd i will respeccin for fury

i am striving for the valor set, our server is jsut now getting enough 60's on horde people are being able to farm all diff high level instances

i also want to get the chromatic flight BSP

for PvP i was thinking thorium set?

im really lost on PvP and would be much obliged for some advice on PvP armor

also... what are some good warrior endgame trinket/rings/necklaces?

i really want the one ring from battle of darrowshire (one with 300 armor)

Thorium armor? No. Wraith Axe blows, get a flurry or a deep wounds for a 1h. Maybe grab silent blade off headmaster - that shit is hot. 300 Armor ring for a warr whos already got high armor? Bad choice imo, put a painweaver band there off Drakkisath or something stat/crit oriented 300 Armor is gonna give you like 1% more damage absorbed aka who gives a shit.

Get full valor, blackhands breadth for one trinket and get 225 smithing for the fear immunity ( i think horde can do this ? ) or go engineering and get some damage output on the trinket slot.

Arcanite reaper is a very slow weap and just because it has a high "damage" rating and some atp doesn't really make it a big deal in my book. I've slammed ppl who used it + wasn't impressed.

If the Scholo series is avail to horde you can get the warblade of caer darrow or just run rend w/guild 5-6x and grab a doomsaw. Either of these can hold you over until you score something epic, and both can be easily obtained. You will find alot of good items to hold you over at 60 can be scored thru quest chains, do some homework on alakazam or thott regarding east/west plague chains and rewards.

Thats just my 2 cents I could b wrong :o

I love my doomsaw...it holds a special spot in my heart. Honestly...theres better armor out there than valor.

I do not have a warrior but the 3 in my guild are basically geared the way I described. What I said may very well be wrong for your spec I do not know. You need to mouse over your Armor in your equip window, and see how much 300 gives you. There's a major flaw in "Armor = good" thinking, especially when you see how little damage a certain amount of it will absorb as opposed to the amount of stats or mods you could have on that slot and what they would accomplish. What's better, taking 1 less damage point per hundred from a melee opponent when you have 7k HP, or having another 100 hp and a higher crit rate? Choice is obvious there. Thats more how I look at gear then what people are "supposed" to wear. Shit I have a mail helmet that totally rules.

Sets are overrated - I don't even want lightforge I only have the shoulders. It goes completely against my build and how I play my Pala, so I wear prodominantly Valor w/ Riever claws and a few other choice pieces I was lucky enough to get. I see mages constantly downplay magister and go for mist. The real kicker is I do not want my epic suit either and all that stuff has class reqs :<
