Main hand VS Off hand

Hi, i got some questions about main hand and offhand weapons... Can someone explain to which is better if your trying to get a weapon to proc?

So if your a rogue and you have deathstriker and want it to proc, do you use it in the mainhand or in the offhand?

Also, the same goes with poisens, say the #1 priority is for crippling poisen on a target and #2 priority is instant, which hand should recieve which poisen?

I would guess the faster weapon would be the one you would want to enchant.

When it comes to off-hand/main hand theirs just a damage penalty i beleive and AFAIK damage doesnt effect a proc going off.

Btw can a rogue be immune to disarm if his off-hand weapon is chained?

Yes, 1 weapon chain works for both.

On a rogue, the weapon you want to proc the most goes in your main hand. Poisons and weapon procs both have a chance to go off when you use sinister strike, which is done with the main hand weapon. So you will have your regular attack rounds plus the sinister strike rounds, which also work outside of the dual wield missing penalty.

Ah yes I forgot the rogues bread and butter attack. I guess ss is kinda like most melee abilities in that it doesnt go off when the attack timer comes up but whenever you press the attack and only uses the mainhand.

So enchant on main + chained wep on off-hand = 4tw

So yesterday I saw shamiko grinding on a fat pink tauren in Kargath... and I died a little inside.

Taurens are sooooooooooooo cute, especially when their /Dancing, sitting down eating/drinking, or /training.

And to top it off, he had on a pink shirt, pink tabard, and his name was ICETEA. I dunno how anyone could resist NOT grinding on him.
