If I cast curse of the XXX on someone with lower resist then i have value on my debuff-curse, will he get debuffed into negative resists?

I ask this ofcourse because without it it honestly seems a bit pointless, we havent really gotten to the point where everyone is running around with high resists, and wth will debuffing a target with 0ish% resists do if you cant go into negatives.

This is because with the current hitpoint maxes the classes can have, being a mage seems pretty useless. Hello mage that does around 1000dmg pr nuke, meet warrior with 0% resist, but 10000hps. Have fun nuking him for 25seconds(thats gonna happen ye) etc

Supposedly you can debuff mobs into negatives, as hitting a mob with a resist debuff will sometimes increase damage on certain lines of spells. (I've seen curse of shadow buff my arcane missile damage, for example, but curse of elements doesn't seem to do anything to my frostbolts.)

I'm not sure if you can debuff a player into the negatives. I'd have to do some testing on this. My feeling is no, since armor and attack power don't seem to go below zero, but you never can tell.

Incidentally, I generally don't have a hard time at all chewing through the average warrior's hit points (which are usually around 5000 if the warrior is well-geared). It's warlocks I have a problem with. I can easily destroy damage-geared warlocks, but stamina-geared ones can require me to chew through almost 8000 hit points when you include healthstone and heal potion, and during this whole time I'm taking steady damage from dots and just asking for those double or triple instas.
