Orphaned hud, looking for new dev to maintain.

A long long time ago, in a galaxy far away, BC was released, a tried and true hud which provided comprehensive information for tanks and healers was not working properly.

My friend spent a lot of time I don't have to debug it, and it lasted all the way through BC.

Since 3.0.* though, the thing has been behaving oddly, and now only works if I manually copy saved variables from pre-lk to each character's folder (importing causes all kinds of wierd issues).

My friend has since switched to x-perl, though as a healer I find those frames cluttered and worse than useless, and now has little interest in maintaining it.

It's in dire need of update, and I think it would be an excellent addition to a general downloads database, as there just isn't an equal to be had out there. :( ,

The nurfed site seems to be in extreme disrepair. Is there a repository with current revisions of various nurfed-related "stuff"

it was updated with TBC and was uploaded by elderbre. he is currently working on the update, and as far as i know, dont have much left on it either :) should be available soon

This is my take on it, note, I play hunter and rogue, It probably will not work for deathknights and I do not know what other classes need. If you want something nice, wait on elderbre, this is just my own hacked update from my previous hacked update for 2.0 release which never was uploaded anywhere.

Just use that as your nurfed.lua in the saved variables folder. Or copy / paste the unitframes section and leave the rest of your settings the same.

I was waiting on the DK Runes stuff but I think I might just release it and update if I can have any DK stuff.. I'll upload in a bit.

Is there a "The Second Hud" update that works with 3.1.2?

eldrebre was last seen a few months ago on these forums, so it's hard to tell if he's actually still working on it and keeping it maintained or not. (and there's no longer a "download" section on the forums or so it seems)

This used to be my favorite HUD. Would be great to have it again.

I have two versions of the nurfed.lua file for this hud, along with the images. I dont have the original layout file, and have modifed it extensively. If you are still willing to convert this it would be nice.

The normal party frames are unchanged, it just has addition frame for player hud, pet hud, target hud, and target of target hud. Those have some of the varaibles compacted, but not all.

Only problem is I cant get the threat bar to look nice with the frame, have max threat be 130%, and show the status text :(
