What is the best?
Enhancement in beginning, then switching to full elemental to kill lots and lots of mobs at the same time and then rest, pull 2-3 mobs again with chainlightning, rest... Or go full enhancement to melee single mobs down very quickly? You got something else in mind, or just another style with a build? Share here please!

Well, as far as grinding goes, caster classes have a much harder time than melee classes because downtime due to mana regeneration is torturous.
Therefore, purely for grinding, I think the best strategy for a shaman is to go restoration/enhancment. You can still use spells, you just have to be judicious in your use of them.
The goal for you at the end of every fight is to be at nearly full mana and maybe half health. You can then cast a heal spell or use a bandage. Much more efficient than blowing your load with shocks and then having to wait for your mana to come back.
It's probably worth going with restoration first, at the very least up until improved healing wave. Probably all the way to NS though. You won't actually get to the good enhancement talents before level 50 or so, so it really won't be that different from a restoration/elemental build for the first 50 levels.
Again, please remember that we're talking purely about griding to 60.
