I am trying to recreate my HUD using the 3.x build, and am having a slight problem with my HP bar. Namely, if I use
["Orientation"] = "VERTICAL",
instead of fading out the top x % of the bar according to the target life, it scrolls the bar in from the bottom hiding the bottom portion. How can I change this.
if I use horizontal, it does the normal fill from left to right animation.
E: oh and a second question. Now that monsters display their absolut HP, is there a way to have it work like default UI with it showing 3000K / 9000K instead of the full number?
Oh, uploaded a screenshot. Would be great if someone could tell me how to fix it.
And also have the code.

will take a look at it when I get the chance.
I think I got it working. I had tried earlier to change to a texture from a statusbar and that failed, however if I do that and remove all the children, then it works. Is there some way to create a virtual container element for my 4 HP objects?

There may be a few ways, but it would be very complex. You could create another frame all together, and just name it something different; Then just lay it over the other hud.
ie: Nurfed_Hud_TargetLayout = { ect }
Hi S_I,
this looks a little like good old "Second HUD" :D I loved that Layout. Would you maybe share your .lua with me?
Once I finish getting it working sure. However, I never managed to import it so I am manually editing the Nurfed.lua in the WTF folder instead.
atm I cannto for the life of me get the threat meter converted :(
Apoco, could you tell me how to change the threatmeter in the nurfed default skin to a vertical orientation with a custom texture? When I try converting it from a statusbar to a texture it fails to load and as a statusbar it moves incorrectly.

post what you are doing and I will take a look at it.
I have been modifying the nurfed.lua in the saved variables folder, the full Nurfed_hudtarget is here:
http://ace.pastey.net/99771
I am using the images from the second hud which is here: http://forums.nurfed.com/showthread.php?t=10057
The threat frames are randomly changing color, and they aren't filling up properly. Also the text isn't showing up and when I move the text out from the threat children it doesn't get the correct values.
The resulting layout should look similar to this:

kk, will try and take a look at it later today. I've made some changes to some stuff, so make sure you are using the latest svn version if you are making layouts.
thanks.
my SVN version is a week old at max, tommarow I can grab the newest one again. Sometimes the nurfed.lua file gets corrupted when relogging but I just copy my backup in then. I'll see if its fixed with the newer version.
E: no difference with newest SVN.
