I think WoWRankings is great because I'm only level 41, so when I don't have time to play I get to look at all the cool loot I can try to get in the future.

I've noticed that most of the Nurfed members don't use it though. I think this could be that it gives away too much for PvP. You could look up what the enemy might be using. Does anyone else think this?

pvp is too fast paced and random for the ability to look up someones loot to matter.

Personally I think its a bunch of crap. I have more +stam and +defense than nearly any warrior in the game and they're listed at 8000 hp.

WoW rankings is total crap, it saves ur LISTED stats/hp/ac instead of totalling it up to get ur base stats from gear only.

Didn't take people long to figure this out, so they get fully buffed with everything imaginable then upload their char info and walla, 8k listed hp.

You can still do that with thottbot, and most people are still using it. Late in beta there were rumors of a new mod that would open up your browser and go to the character profile of someone you had targeted so you could instantly see what they were using, but apparently Blizzard caught wind of this and told them not to because of the PvP implications.
