Question on the videos..

What do you guys use to record and edit your videos? I am new to this video thing and would like to try and make a few of my own.

Thanks, heres a better question. What would I use to edit divx videos? Is there a file format I should be using over another?

I use Sony Vegas 5 to edit the videos and i have Divx Pro to encode them to avi files.

Another question not really related to movie making. I believe tiv picks the music in the movies? What are some of your favorite artist? I'd like to check out some more of what I heard in the movies.

I listen to pretty much any music, i dont' really have a favorite.

Another question, about vegas. My movies seems to be quite a bit more blurry than others with the same res and so on. Could this be something to do with motion blur with vegas?
