Is it possible to dismount someone under mind control (without water around to run them into)?
Thanks much.

i dunno, but if you can see the buffs and debuffs on the char you're mindcontrolling you should be able to

No I dont believe you can. The only buff you see is the MC (debuff?) one to my knowledge
Either way, Mc has such short range that it is almost impossible to catch something as they run by.

If you want to dismount someone, use :

engineers make them, they're cheap, have 5 charges, and can be used by anyone. Great against rogues (I'm a warlock)

Exactly my thoughts too. Also, Mind Control has a three second cast time, so definitely no way to MC someone mounted unless they are standing still.

Yea I've tried it a few times myself, it can be done if you see the person coming and they run right past you in a convenient manner, and they don't have an epic mount. Otherwise forget it.

It's funny though .. I've dismounted someone via water on average of about every other week. No, I haven't gotten any skilled players down doing this, but it's fun to do to someone who thinks they're going to ride right by me. Why do people like to try to ride right through you anyway? Anyway, it would be more fun if I didn't need water :(
