It's probably due to insane gears but he is doing some insane crits. Anyone know what gears he might be using? Anyways, being another warrior, things like this make me happy

He's using The Nicker (http://www.thottbot.com/?i=15351), and is most likely enraged. I'd imagine he's wearing a fair amount of strength gear too.
Not to hijack the thread or anything, but I've always wondered why people never talk about The Nicker as a viable end game PvP weapon? Now I don't have one, so I can't do any actual tests, but a quick bit of TheoryCraft tells me that with a reasonable amount of strength gear The Nicker should produce the highest MS numbers in the game. Granted there are tradeoffs, but I'm curious why I never hear anyone talk about this weapon?

Yea, he woulda been enraged with a rogue and druid-in-cat hitting him. Some people do insist on going str/agi as well, which does up dps. No one will ever know if he blew recklessness, which would also explain quite a bit.
dreadforge (http://thottbot.com/index.cgi?i=8486) hits for about 10 less, but has better dps and good equip effects.
doomsaw (http://thottbot.com/index.cgi?i=20827) hits for about 5 less, and has much better dps and a better proc
teh reaper (http://thottbot.com/index.cgi?i=14268) hits for about 3 less, has much better dps, 13 sta and effectively 31 str.
I'd say the nicker is nothing special.

You're failing to take speed into account. Lets say you have 75dps added from attack power (easy to get with good str items and buffs... in fact, you could prob get much higher). That means your attack power is adding:
Dreadforge: 277.5 per hit
Doomsaw: 262.5 per hit
Reaper: 285 per hit
Nicker: 300 per hit
That means the nicker is doing about 33 more damage over the dreadforge, around 46 more when enraged, and add 20% more to that difference on a crit. Yeah, the dreadforge has better effects.
Personally, I think the doomsaw is too fast, though the dps is great. The reaper I'd say is definitely better than the Nicker, but MUCH harder to get. So when comparing The Nicker to the Dreadforge, which I think is the closest comparison, I say the Nicker is better than most people give it credit for. It will definitely produce the highest damage single hits =).

yes it will, but looking at combat stats, both when soloing and in instances, the majority of my warrior's damage comes from normal hits. 60% or more in fact (this drops a bit when I use Whirlwind a lot, but is always a good 45% atleast)
Let's see.. one MS takes on average 3 hits from my Retaliator.. not counting in crits. Let's say 1 MS for every 3 normal Hits.
3 Normal hits takes 3.7*3 = 11.1 seconds. The +30 attack power and 0.8 moer DPS on retaliator, means that you will do 3 DPS more with it then with Nicker.
11.1 * 3 = 33.3 more damage.
Not counting the +1% crit rate and +1% parry on retaliator, and not counting the proc on the nicker, you will deal almost the same damage with both.
So I guess it comes down to is whether you prefer the +1% and +1% parry on retaliator or the proc on the Nicker.
I'm actually a bit surprised how close it comes down. Though 4.00 speed I think personally is just a bit too slow for me.
Then again, last night in BRD, when killing the senator's before the Emperor, I charged, got a normal crit hit for 1090, then 3.7 seconds later got another crit hit for 1043. At which point I had 40 rage, and the Senator was almost dead.
I'd say it comes down to personal preference between Retaliator and The Nicker.
Arcanite Reaper is still better then both though.
And yeah, The Nicker and Reaper will definitely produce highest single hits, which makes for very good PvP Burst DPS. Nothing like doing 3k damage in 3.7 seconds because of 3 crits in a row.. which we have about a 1% chance of doing, which happens often enough.
As for the picture, yeah, a DPS warrior is almost as good as a DPS rogue at single target damage, and better at AOE Damage.

Consistently? No. A rogue wins hands down. A flukey, out of the pants 3k dmg binge in 2-3 hits...yes we can :)

Consistently, in a 5-man scholomance run, I did 540,000 total. The mage did about 40,000 more. That's about 5-10% more then me.
Your telling me Firecrak, that a warrior doing 10% less damage then a mage, will lose hands down against a rogue?
I don't think so. And just to head you off at the pass, if your about to say we had a crappy mage, then how did we do scholomance with 5 people without wiping once?

Since I got my Reaper yesterday, my max MS crit was about 1870 on level 60 cloth when enraged. Warriors can do insane burst damage with the right conditions. Many times I've killed people who were simply not prepared to lose 2000+hp in a matter of seconds.

Where exactly in my above post did I say mage? Mages are the kings of aoe damage, pure and simple. The days of Invis+Pyro and 2k insta nukes from stealth are long gone, mages are brought along for CC, aoe and mana. Thats it. Rogues...will tear you a new asshole when it comes to single mob DPS.

You also use berserker stance more than any other warrior I've ever seen. If it works for you, sure, but that explains a little bit. I'll give you this much, vs the zerg outside southshore you are a serious pain in the ass when you havea couple healers keeping you up.
