After searching this forum and the wow official forums for warrior talents I'm a bit confused...

Everyone was screaming MS then after the mid december patch Indalamar posted on the general part of this forum that he was going to go fury as main tree. But then again, his talent specc shows Arms (MS). The sticky warrior build post from indalamar is last updated in november :(

And on top of that: on the 6th of january 2005 Indalamar posted on the official boards that MS was still the only viable build.

I'm going for a PvP build and mainly (small) group PvP (5on5). However my final question is:

Is MS the way to go? I can find that some of the talent speccs here on nurfed.com show some differ in 2h mastery or a specific weapon type mastery, but that's about it. I'm playing in europe and since retail is only a week away I want to check what you lvl60 warriors think about this. I played a mage during the eu final beta but I'm gonna roll a warrior in retail.

This has been asked hundreds of times, it has been discussed in detail hundreds of times, both specs have been broken down in nearly every situation imaginiable.

The answer is still yes, MS performs better, in more situations, than a full fury build.

Fury damage will need a big buff JUST to make up for the Mortal Strike debuff.. sad really.

Anyway you sllice it, the war is a rly freakin simple class, not rly worth having 200+ posts about it. Dude just try it out your self, you can always respec.

If you want a class that has more then 2 viable builds of talents to play you should look elsewhere.

But if you want rly want something new and all, go to Stormreaver and harras a guy named Xyshina about his build, its something new to try out plus it fits the type of war you want to play and etc.

kk have fun

Not rly, you gain a sweet intercept cooldown time reduce to make up for it id say, and intercept 4tw. Also with all the rage, you get to use sunder armor a lot more, so it makes up for the dmg quite well.
