Sence I am younger I had to ask my mom for her credit card and I signed up for an offer. Turns out you friends have to dign up to a sight with a credit card also. And I dont have friends with credit cards. So anyways I couldnt cancel this subscription online and I had to talk on the phone to some customer servicew guy who kept giving me the runaround. My point was that Warhammer Online has been in development before(Climax and SEGA, now Mythic), just like Darkfall(Razorwax, now Aventurine).

Warhammer online by Climax and by Mythic are totally diffrent games, but the rights to this mmo are the same. Who knows maybe rights to the game were worth more than the game itself so they just stopped the development and sold it to mythic...

Aventurine on other hand took some code and some of razerwax stuff and keep the development of the game going. But when you compare screenshots from 3 years ago, you can really tell when the development of this game realy started.

Clearly both games are in development and as long as it stays that way they are both vaporware to me.

Everything the devs say in this commentary add up to an awesome sounding fucking game, and it all applies to the video.

Also Darkfall has been in development for a record setting time, yet it also is setting records by creating one of the largest persistent worlds filled 100% by handcrafted terrain. That kind of shit takes lots of time, but is very appreciated in a final product.

The term vaporware only makes sense when it's applied to games that are scams designed by people to get money out of players without ever making an actual game. Since Darkfall has never asked for money via paypal to support development nor has it offered beta for money or started taking preorders, it's not vaporware.
