Priest gear: Int vs Spi vs Stam?

Which stat should priest focus on? Int vs spirit vs stam assuming 100% PVE. How about on a PVP server?

if you're soling spirit is very important since it will reduce your downtime very much.

also it's important to even have a manapool to recharge :) so we need int :)


but if you're pvping i'ld go for like 1/3 of all :)

Stam Int, which is currently not mage gear. Current mages go after warlock stuff for the stats.

I would say for PvP higher stamina and int is best... go more like a mage since pvp encounters are short, you want maximum mana for burst healing and dps... no reason to drag out the mana pool or regen. For PvE, it's clearly more about spirit. A good tank and responsible group, you have no need for high stamina, you -should- be kept alive and if you're a good healer, you -should- know how to manage your healing and aggro.

I prefer a well rounded bit of all three, because I like being able to get a variety of caster items that others pass up because they may focus on one. I am, however, as I was in beta, a serious spirit junky. I use a heavy Discipline build (I like heavy discipline, yum! :twisted: ) and utilize all talents which maximize mana efficiency and regeneration. I also got a great mana regen ring and am constantly using divine spirit buff and spirit enhancing foods. I am a mana battery, really.
