help with my rogue please

I am a 39 undead rogue and have just reset my talents to the following...

Subtlety Mastery
Camouflage - Rank 5/5
Increases your speed while stealthed by 15%.

Opportunity - Rank 5/5
Increases the damage dealt when striking from behind with your Backstab, Garrote, or Ambush abilities by 20%.

Improved Ambush - Rank 2/3
Increases the critical strike chance of your Ambush ability by 45%.
Subtlety Total: 12


Assassination Mastery
Improved Eviscerate - Rank 3/3
Increases the damage done by your Eviscerate ability by 15%.

Remorseless Attacks - Rank 5/5
After killing an opponent that yields experience, gives you a 40% increased critical strike chance on your next Sinister Strike, Backstab, Ambush, or Ghostly Strike.

Malice - Rank 5/5
Increases your critical strike chance by 5%.

Lethality - Rank 5/5
Increases the critical strike damage bonus of your Sinister Strike, Gouge, Backstab, Ambush, Ghostly Strike, or Hemorrhage ability by 30%.

Subtlety Total: 18


using two daggers...

Ireally think my daggers suck.. can anyone suggest what quests i should be doing for daggers or what daggers i should try and buy?

also where would a good place to grind be for this build.. I find most damage is done when i link 4 or so kills together.

I am basically doing the DPS build from the rogue sticky...

any tips are welcome cheers :)

This is a very easy dagger to get at your level, its a drop from Archmage Doan in SM. It drops about 40% of the time or so. A few runs, or 1 lucky run should do great.

I honestly wouldn't waste my time getting a Hypnotic Dagger. The stats on it are virtually worthless to a Rogue. You would be better off vendoring it and then using that cash to get yourself a dagger with agility on it.

Well its one of the better DPS daggers you could get at your lvl, and the few + agility you would get off another dagger would make virtually no difference, expecially if you are lvling fast and will be using another dagger soon anyhow.

It's just a suggestion.

Oh my. I didn't even look at the daggers he has now. Yeah, definately replace that Tigerbane with a Hypnotic.

I just hit level 40 and the only good dagger I have seen I could possibly get is the coldrage dagger from RFD

Indeed it is. The max damage range of your main hand weapon has a great deal to do with the maximum damage you will do using sinister strike, ambush, backstab and eviscerate. Just remember to try and offset any of the slower mainhand daggers with the fastest you can find for your offhand.

As miragul said, the max dmg is more important on your main hand than the dps is, whether you're using sword or dagger.

try to get the slowest, highest max dmg weapon you can find. because even 5-10 higher max dmg can mean 50-100 more dmg on each ambush or bs.

but for your offhand, you want to get the highest dps dagger you can find.
and as long as you keep imp poison on it, try to get the fastest one.
if you don't use poison, then speed doesn't matter, only dps.
