Priest advice / help

Hi..

I have a rogue now, but would like to go on raids and so on and from what iv read they are not the best for that.. So im thinking about enrolling a priest, But have some questions,

Can they Solo, or do they need help for everything?
How well do they handle them self in PVP?
What build should i go for?

Yes, they can handle themself in solo, they are one of the best grinders actually. (If you specc in the Shadow Tree.)

And for PvP, they are really hard to kill, and if you're specced in Shadow you can do damage aswell.
