Hello all, I am an avid lover of the 3D party frames, however I have been unsuccessul at updating the code for my old 3D party layout. If anyone has a working layout with 3D party models could you please upload them and post them here. I really like Tivolli's layout from the first post in this thread:http://forums.nurfed.com/showthread.php?t=11820 . If you have got a working version of this or any other 3D pary model layout, I would greatly appreciate the upload.

Thanks in advance,

Zorlan

Its quite easy, just download for example my Version:
http://forums.nurfed.com/showthread.php?t=13193

Then open the layout.lua goto Line 410:

Nurfed_Party = {

This is the Party Frame

Now scroll down to Line 459:

--model_frame = {
-- template = "Nurfed_Model_frame",
-- size = { 50, 50 },
-- Anchor = { "TOPLEFT", "$parent", "TOPLEFT", 0, 4 },
--},
--model = {
-- template = "Nurfed_Unit_model",
-- size = { 40, 40 },
-- Anchor = { "BOTTOMLEFT", "$parentmodel_frame", "BOTTOMLEFT", 6, 4 },
--},

Remove all the -- Infront of the lines and done :)
Just save start wow and import it.

Worked like a charm, very clear instructions. Thanks a ton. The most important thing you mentioned was to import it, I had never looked for that option before, this being updated I didn't know how to get the layout to work.

Thanks again!
