Backstab - how to do it, continuously?

Is there any way to just keep spamming BS with a dual dagger rogue? I've tried this in PvE, running around and keep hitting my BS button, but it doesn't work very well. I haven't played much PvP, but I think I might have the same problem there. Can anybody (Kintoun...?) please help me, tell me what I'm doing wrong and what I should be doing instead....

A couple of strategies that have worked well for me:
Gouge + BS
Cheap Shot + BS (+ Thistle + BS)
Kidney Shot + BS(+ Thistle + BS)

It's generally (I've found) easier to get off a BS in PvP than PvE because players don't autoface you. You can pull off maneuverings vs players that you can't with mobs. If you want to spam BS vs mobs your best bet is to have someone else holding the aggro from you and throwing an occaisional Feint into the mix.

You have to see PvE as Players with aimbot , you cant see their backs until some1 other got attacked ...With PvP you just have to Jump over the dude and hit your BS button in middle of the dude or just turn a 180 in the air and hit the BS button as soon as you see his back. Another way is just Gouge him and jump over him and do the same thing i just said. HF with killing em' :)

for one, backstab takes 60 energy, so you can pretty much only do it twice in a row(without using thistle tea) and then you have to regen 60 energy again.(which takes 6 seconds)

As coldfire said, if you're asking about how to backstab when you're soloing, you have to use gouge or kidney shot (or even blind, but it's on a 5 min timer) before you can backstab after the fight has already started.

as far as spamming it?

You can get off 4 backstabs in about 4 seconds if the mob isn't on you and you use a thistle tea.(which has a long cooldown after you use it before you can use another)

If it IS on you, there's no way to "spam" bs.

On Blind:
I rarely use it outside of PvP. Too irritating to get Fadeleaf for the powder to waste it on a mob. Whoopie. But I've found if you really wanna piss somebody off, throw some of that stuff in their face when they're trying to kill you. You can throw up a bandage and if you time it right get a BS off to break it. In PvP I love it. In PvE it's a waste.
