Ok, I'm back in WoW. And starting a new rogue. And it's too hard to grasp all those new talents. And those new talents gonna be out in 2 weeks? Blizzard is making me wet my pants. Any help would be nice.

Your current gear, and weapons would probably help out a lot.

also what you want to do in the game. pve, pvp or a mix etc.

As a PvP'ing Dagger Rogue, I have thought about many builds and came up with this:

Thoughts?

Looks great to me. Can't exactly find a flaw, doing it's job. I'm no authority here, but, I'd get imp sap no matter what.

PS. I sure glad Blizzard finally gave us something to think about instead of cookie-cutters.

Having MoD and Camouflage is overkill in my opinion.
Serrated Blades is a great talent to have as well as Imp. Sap. and would do much more for you.
I find that Remorseless Attacks often gets wasted and that you will get better use out of those points in Ruthlessness or Murder.
As for Imp. Eviscerate, that's total personal preference. I know people that swear by it but I'm not a big fan of investing points into it unless I'm a sword build. I've tried out a couple builds with it while wearing 5/5 Deathdealer and maybe it was terrible RNG but the results were really lacking for me.

It's a shame that Blizzard didn't include the latest talent changes from beta into the 2.0 patch.
The placement swap between Imp. Backstab and Imp. SnD is what gives so much more room to experiment with.

Indeed it is. Finally being able to have solid dagger performance without tri speccing is a god send, sealed fate prep, not to mention a handful other viable options now really excites me. Although im pretty happy with mutilate, im really looking forward to a viable Sub dagger build.

I'm also using Mutilate right now but haven't had the opportunity to try it out in PvE. I'm quite happy with the results in PvP, but anything seems good after being Combat Daggers for 8 months. Even though I won't be playing a rogue in expansion as my main, I'd like to get it to 70 and try out Shadowstep.

I dunno, I don't like imp. sap as much.

I like the beta one, but atm i don't think it's THAT good.

I'm gonna play shadowstep, comes TBC:

This would be my preferred build for Shadowstep

Mita, I was surprised you haven't include it in your original post.

Athrun, and who was talking?

I'll admit I don't know as much about Subtlety as I do about the other two trees, and wasn't considering going that deep into the tree until Shadowstep was put in. I just went ahead and posted how I would do that build if BC was live right now.

As for it being taken out of the game, if anyone that is in beta wants to answer this, then please do. I can't check until friday.
When my schedule clears up, I'll start posting lvl 70 builds.

uhm actually i meant it currently isn't in anymore, a rogue friend of mine said it was taken out, but he's not in beta or anything. I assumed myself it was out because all talents are the same in beta as they are now, since the patch right?

no they aren't

take the latest rogue talent changes (Backstab to Assa tree, Imp. Sap t2 in the subtlety tree), they were changed in beta but not in the patch, resulting in us not getting shadowstep (dayyyyyyyymn)

I'll try this (http://www.wowhead.com/?talent-bc=wZhfEzrVzx00oxxMe0Mh0o), when I'm finished with my warrior.

That Mutilate build looks fine except I would take Ruthlessness over Murder or Remorseless Attacks.

They did? My (combat) talent build has been mostly the same for as long as I can remember.
