If you thought not being able to talk between Horde and Alliance was hindering your gameplay with friends then the solution has arrived thanks to forum goer EdgarVerona who's created a translation addon called Babelfish. We tested this today in Ashenvale and our Night Elf and Tauren characters had no problem chatting, the addon translated our conversation 100% every time for us. All you need to do is download the file and shove it in your Interface/Addons directory and you're away. The translator will only work if it's installed on your PC and the person you are talking to. You can grab the file from us right here weighing in at 5k.

Hahaha Nevermind
Apperntly Blizzard will address this issue and I would guess they are going to disable it in the near future.

sigh... just as I was hoping to be able to thank some horde players that I have met ingame...
It's so stupid - alliance characters can freaking spit on us, and that's better than them saying "LOL PWNED NEWB" ?
I guess when I -could- talk to alliance all they ever said was "LOL", "FU FGT" and "STOP PLZ"

Heh I have NEVER /spit , /rude on anyone's corpse ever. And on my server I have met quite a few "live and let live" horde players (mostly from a guild called "The Mafias")
I just think that in game communication would be great to setup some even matched pvp. And it would help both sides in identifying the more mature players.
I don't ever use "1337" talk, but there are more then a couple times when I really wanted to thank some horde char, and sometimes ask some grp to stick around and pvp some more. Yes I know i am too much of a pacifist, and I admit that i have much to learn about pvp. But I just think that with a communication system like this we could really find the "gems" on both sides, and identify the crap players as well.

Communciation is to prevent the Masses from doing what comes naturally. We all saw that in Beta when Undead was able to speak Common.
I think that breaking up the Communication is good. If you really want to orgnaize a 5 on 5, best place to do it is on the opposing guild's web site or on Blizzard's Forums. Yes I know not every guild has a web site nor does everyone read Blizzard's Forums, but enough people do from both sides. It would be a little more difficult to organize. Heck we did it in Beta. We had a few Fight nights that was orgnaized through the Blizzard Forums.

Heh, I did that right before I posted here, but the blizz realm forum is very unstable right now...
Any good pvp location that you recommand? I like BRM a lot. But I hate to have ppl get MC'ed or feared into lava and loose durability :(
thanks

go beat on South Shore for about 10 mins. They usually call in the big guns after a while.

Heh, I really don't want to randomly kill people much lower lvled. But even if I did the outcome will most likely be me (and my party) getting zerged. With no method of communication there is no way for us to have rounds of good clean fights.
But anyway, I am happy to see that people actually responded to my team pvp request on the forum. I really hope things could get rolling soon.
