What do you guys do right now after lv 60?

I have been a lv 60 on frostwolf for a while now, and so far I have been doing endless runs of brs/strat/schol, all in raid grp... :? On my server at least there seem to be a trend of going through instances as fast as possible with a large raid group and gather the items...

Does this happen else where too? I personally like a challenge and found that 5-man instance running is much more challenging and insightful, (too bad my last 5-man run of baron ended in failure do to the evade bug and the invis Eye bug :( ) I also get called to help guildies a lot too. But it is upsetting to see so many of them get to lv 60 and immediately defect to the "uber" "raid everything for equip" guild of our server...

So what do you guys at Nurfed do? I wish that there is some way to talk to hordes to setup some series of 5v5 pvp action... But most of the time it is either we outnumber them or they outnumber us (In BlackRock Mtn of course :wink: that is an awesome pvp area :) )

Generally we work out a process for speeding things up for our guild so I hate to admit that we have fallen into the 'farm instances via zerg' trap on the off chance that a rare bind on pickup set item drops (such as a Lightforge BP !!). However, I believe we've finished up our farming of Strath/Upper Spire and are just doing Scholo during the day and bigger raids at night.

Heh so now I don't feel so bad anymore :) Zerging is much faster (5-man schol for that quest to talk to ghosts took a loooong time...), however you are lucky that you are "zerging" with experienced players all the time. There is a huge difference!

The sad thing about our server 's alliance side is that there is one guild taht is just recruiting lv 60s. That guild started with some very good players, and I grouped with them a lot (we were the first lv 60s on frostwolf) but for some reason the guild master started to recruit many up-coming lv 60s and begin to exlude non-guild members from raid. The result of that is now they will need a bigger group to raid, and the rest of us have less ppl to group with :(
(as to why I didnt' go to that guild, I value friends and loyalty much more :( )

Anyway, you guys heard anything about the "speicial" epic mounts? On the alliance side there is a special "wintersaber" trainer in WS, and there is a special raptor trainer in Ungoro Crater. I am wondering if you guys found any more of these trainers? I have heard that these mounts are faster then the normal epics. :shock:

/rant I have done ubrs raid 20+ times now, and similarly for strat... 10+ times for schol... And yet I still have crap equip :( (There is always someone more needy in the raid grp that I will pass up loot to ) And the fact that I am locked to the crappy devout set doesn't help either :?

Gahhh!!! Stupid alliance side and our pallies... I wish I was on your server and I wish I am a horde:( We are so lacking warriors right now it is not even funny... Seems everyone either plays a rogue or pally now-a-days :(

When you login, click on the Change Server button, select Arch Server, then Click on the Create New Character Button. =P

hahaha I was expecting that. The truth is I have already done that on burning blade. hence all the newbie questions about horde. The main thing for me is that I don't want to loose friends or loose my touch :)

Also isn't archi a very unstable server too? Now I need to somehow convince people to leave their lvl 60 toon and go to another server :P

Level 60 is the time, when guild and guild alliances become important. Those who do not have a clear plan to get to some raid, will be left groping for groups to high end dungeons to attain items necessary for any of the 1st tiered raids.

Guild alliances are probably the most important for combined effort at attaining 40 people equipped and itemized for the raids. If you don't find the Amulet for the Onxia Lair in your bags, i suggest you figure out where to begin the quest line and make some friends. Grab your guild and friends or make new friends and get this done. :)

Molten Core requires no key for access, but you will need to still get itemized for it. So your guildies are on the right track.

PvP battle grounds will be here soon, again, guild alliances will become important. With only a limited amount of people allowed in, you'll want to make sure you're in the best runs. '

Currently PvP is non existent, I'm pretty sure nurfed feels the same on the issue. Until PvP rewards come in, it's about the gear. Get with your guildies and get ready for the raids, because come battlegrounds, you'll want to have the advantage, and in this game, numbers are not going to be the advantage.

Heh I do have the amulet, and ummm well tried to duo her with a warrior friend of mine...:)

The thing is though, as i said in later post, there is a guild on my server that is trying to recruit all the lv 60s no matter good or bad. I have many friends in that guild, but now with the new members and seemingly a new rule of not grouping with anyone outside of the guild, the quality of raid group has declined:( and sometimes it becomes a drag...

I don't personally care about not getting equip in raid. But I put great emphasis on the experince. I remember while back, Nurfed did the first 10 man run of UBRS, and was really happy to pull it off myself too. But it irks me when people just get into the "big is better" mind set all of a sudden... Heh sorry about the rant..

Yeah Pvp is bit crappy right now, being a timid priest I get surprise attacked alot :( But no matter what though, having 5v5 pvp rounds in BRM is just fun :) until more people from oneside show up and mess up everything :(

I am going to use that cross-faction talk mod, I would love to talk to some experienced horde players on my server to set matches up. I don't care about curses and what not, I think I am mature enough to look pass all that :)

PS. I heard that there is a special epic mount trainer for human in EPL... but haven't gotten a chance to confirm that yet...

It's stable from the standpoint that it seems like everyone who has even thought, "hey, i'd like to pvp once in a while" has a character on there. It is extremely overcrowed, but the server does a good job of staying up in spite of that. Just expect queues and lag due to overpopulation.

Heh frostwolf is worse :( I guess when blizz announce how they would let us transfer chars I will find a low pop east coast server...

So is archimond the most populated pvp server on the east coast? I know that frostwolf is one of (if not most) populated west coast server... That crashes a lot...

as far as i know, arch is a central server, which is why its so populated. decent access for everyone all over the country.

@ lvl 60 I whisper Dal for Raid groups, PL Nurfed Members, Farm Orcs, Get every weapon skill in the game to 300 (work in progress). Ooh yeah and wonder why I switched to warrior instead of playing a mage again like in CB.. :shock:

Uhh the life of a 60:) I too have been training misc. skills. fishing, FA, cooking, everything :)

Got my dagger and wand maxed now 10pts away from maxing staff... next will be mace.

I am also about to switch out of herb/alch to mine/eng. Not too happy with the higher end of this profession... The flasks are a really big waste of money...

About orcs farming, what orcs are you talking about? the ones in Burning Stepee? Do they drop good money or something? I am reputation farming in WS...

Your comment did get me thinking though. Maybe that is why everytime I set foot in BS for herbs for more then 10min some horde(S) will always show up and try to kill me while I am fighting... There must be something about killing those orcs for the horde players... :roll:

Ahh yeah, I remember grinding inside the fortress while you took out the outside part, thanks for letting me live so I could hit 60, very appreciated.

It was very nice cash though, but now that I'm 60, I'm not sure I want to go there again. I didn't really like the place too much after spending 4 levels there. Too bad I have nothing to do right now...maybe I will just go farm it a bit every now and then and enjoy some even-level pvp for once.

Oh and for that time Verb saw me through stealth and /cryed, I wasn't going to attack you :(
