I don't mean to be offensive, nor a flamer....
but Man....what kind of question is that??? It's like asking: Is Paladin better then Rogue or the other way round?
Don't you think there are more aspects to be considered? Like the skill of the player behind the Char, if the Paladin is DPS spec or Defensive spec, if the rogue has a Stealther 1vs1 Spec or a more group PvP oriented build?
Come on.... I love these boards for atcually being constructive and full of usefull infos, let's not turn them into some Battle.net E-peenis contest boards.

In my experience as a Rogue, I usually rock Paladins, even if I don't get the jump on them, especially after respeccing to the Dagger Hybrid build. I actually enjoy fighting Paladins now because I have very little to worry about.
I have Parry and Riposte. A Disarmed Paladin is quite literally a sitting duck. They have no skill (as far as I know) that is anything like this.
Paladins don't have Overpower. I have a base 30% to dodge and when I hit Evasion that brings it up to 80%. It's virtual invulnerability with no consequences. Paladins really can't counter it.
They use a shield and they heal. Ok, cool. Maybe I'll use a bandage. Most of the time I don't need to. Let them waste Lay on Hands. As soon as the shield drops it's gouge, backstab (which currently has around 60% chance to crit) and if I feel like being a pain in the ass, kidney shot too.
Plate? Big deal. I've found it doesn't mean as much as most people want it to. It's not going to save your ass in PvP. The best you'll get out of it is maybe an extra 5 seconds in the fight. Ooooo.
But then again, I have yet to fight any Paladin on my server that has demonstrated a capacity for skill beyond button mashing. Maybe there's something they could be doing but aren't that will floor me, and that's the point (though from my post it doesn't exactly seem like it).
Skill is a much larger factor in PvP than class. Anyone can stand there and spam SS or Fire Bolt or Heroic Strike or Raptor Strike all day long. To succeed you have to know what you're doing. It isn't as simple as Rock-Paper-Scissors, despite what many people (most of whom use it as a justification for getting rolled) will tell you.

Well k i was rogue in Korean beta and kind of liked it...but i just wanted to know if i could beat a Middle-skilled Pala cause they normally defend the Mages...
So you wanna fight Pala's to get to the Mage?
OK, you wanna kill Pallys, fair enough but why don't you just Sap the Pala an get the Mage straight away then?
After you are done with the Mage you can Vanish and get yourself healed by using first aid.
If the Pala get's out of Sap before your done with the Mage give him a lil' blinding powder of whatever.
Still you could gouge him an use first aid while you'r running in circles...
Then again, Disarm is allways a good contribution when fighting another melee class that can parry, unfortunately they dont parry enough :)
The Rogue is a very versatile class and you should use every ability you have to knock down your foes.
and, Good Luck
