Ok shamans at lvl 40-60.. do they do good either being a melee built or caster/kiter. I do not know alot about them maby i can get some information on what is happing with uber shamans specialy at lvl 60, and how they fend off against the rest of the classes.
Any help would be appriciated thanks in advance :)

I believe nurfed runs elemental shaman, but I'm 60, enhance / NS build and an active PvPer. I am quite satisfied with my performances in PvP. I've heard elemental shaman have trouble with paladins whereas I don't have much trouble with them at all, even if they have LoH up. /shrug who knows. After I buy my epic mount I'll toy around with respeccing and see what I like.

imo shamans are one of the strongest end game pvper classes because they can fight anyone... However you invest in a more offensive talent build your opening yourself up to a lack of support in 1v1 situations (no fast heals)
My elemental/enhancement shaman does pretty well in both pve and pvp, but in 1v1 situations against a decent paladin I lack a little bit of healing power, have to rely on bandages :(

Well thank you for the input appricate it, i know what you mean Afgar ;). Is there any way you guys can post your talent tree builds for me? I mostly trying to get some shaman info for my friend i play a warrior myself. When i was lvl 42 i dueled a melee shaman and a caster shaman both of them 44. We did best out of 3's and i won 2 out of both but i had to adapt as it was my first time. The melee shaman did almost just as good as me toe to toe damage. Also the kiter was doing good but i hamstring and caught up for the kill. Other then that the melee i was surprised me, it almost out did me and the caster did more damage then expected. As at lvl 60's i don't know for the melee how to get to as close damage as me or other melee classes/ rogues etc, and the life and for the casters i will have max resistance. So i don't know if there is a contridiction to that for the shaman.
