Hi Santa... did you forget all the little undead girls and boys this christmas? I went and saw Greatfather Winter, but he's an Orc and clearly did not know what I really really wanted!

All I really really wanted was a Murloc Plushie!

Here's a handy Canadian Elf who can make them!!

http://myweb.cableone.net/groves/index.html

Well since you forgot my plushie, can I have a FREE IPOD instead?

http://www.onlineamigo.com/free_ipod_guide/

(anyone ever done this pyramid offer scheme to get a free ipod? I read it's legit but requires people to pay for offers from online services...)

Thanks for forgetting me and my bony friends Santa!!!

IMO free ipod is a dirty scam even though its supposed to work. Sence I am younger I had to ask my mom for her credit card and I signed up for an offer. Turns out you friends have to dign up to a sight with a credit card also. And I dont have friends with credit cards. So anyways I couldnt cancel this subscription online and I had to talk on the phone to some customer servicew guy who kept giving me the runaround. Not worth it, but I got one for christmas anyways. YAY!

I believe the free ipod is a scam. That is why reputable tech sites have banned threads from being created for free ipod/free lcd monitor pyramid schemes.

I use www.anandtech.com a pretty well known and very respectable site, and if you go to their forums there, you will see they have a policy against it.

Sure it may work, and sure you can read all the testimonials you want. But take it all with a grain of salt.

It sounds like phising to me.

this is how the free ipod deals work
you create an account, they ask you about 10 quick yes/no offers, just keep clicking no until you get to the main page.
you are then given a list of subscriptions/offers
you must choose and sign up for ONE of the services on the list (you'll need a credit card). THAT IS IT on your part.
you must then get 5 frieends to do the exact same thing, with you as their referral (create an account and sign up for one of the options on the list)
whallaa, they mail you a free ipod
way to get this system to work for free:
many of the options are subscription offers where you get a free trial period. ill use an example. one of the services is blockbuster online. you have to sign up with them and give them your credit card info, but you have a 2 week free trial. so you can sign up and get the credit for freeipod, and as long as you remember to cancel your account before the free trial period is over, you are charged nothing. other option examples are things like free packs of tea samples if you pay the $5 dollars S/H fee ($5 for an ipod compared to $300). do not try to be crafty and scam them by creating 5 accounts with your referral. they will see the same credit card name, etc and not send you the ipod nor refund anything you spent.
if you found this info at all useful and are going to do it now, pls use me as you referral :) http://www.freeiPods.com/?r=13923125 me love you long time

Ok, I was mostly just joking... I'm not really keen on convincing 5 friends to sign up for crap they don't want so that I can get an iPod. I'll save my coppers instead.

I still want a Murloc Plushie though.
