Eh...i dunno how...help tha newbie, how do i do this IRC channel stuff. :oops:

download it there, once you get it installed start it up, click file, select server, then on the pull down menu goto enter the game random server, once you connect type /join #nurfed

Google up the latest MIRC client. Install. Fill in the fields for name and back-up name. Connect to a "Random: Enterthegame" server. You can either use the server browser or go to the generic status window and type "/server irc.enterthegame.com". Once connected, the channel window will open. In the channel window you can either add a static channel (can also set that channel to "join on server connect") or just join a channel by typing it in the top blank and hitting enter. Put in "#Nurfed". Be sure to include the pound sign, not the quotations.

When i connect to /server irc.enterthegame.com i get "unable to connect to server" :cry:

hmm.. i'd like to say

"are you connected to the internet"

But you clearly are. Make sure you fill in all apriorate fields and everything looks ok on the server connection screen befor trying to connect. Make sure you picked yourself a user name. There is no offical authenication with a login server so that isn't the issue. Let me know how it works out for you.

Perhaps try to get a exact word for word or a SS to show the exact msg it is giving you when you can not connect so I can better assist you

Is your router able to process ports 6667-6670? you might try typing /server irc.enterthegame.com 6667
