Well, I've rerolled a Hunter, and I'm about 31ish, and there's so many freakin Hunters around. Its a pain to get tanks/healers for groups. So I've thought about going a Druid since they are both, and they are a decent hybrid (mostly healing) and they seem fun (different styles of play in one character). But for 25-man raids in TBC I'd think that a Druid would be in more high demand than a Hunter (plus there's so many already). Its a tough call since no new talents have been released, and I read on the Hunter boards, that the Hunter DPS duties really fall off in Naxxramas, and are pretty much just tranq-bots. Whereas Druids aren't as powerful as Priests, but Innverate = Win. I'm having troubles deciding.
The other downside to a Druid is gearing him, as you need 3 sets for Feral/Caster/Healer, where gearing up a Hunter is just Raw DPS and the more the AGI the better. Plus a Hunter can be a farming machine.
Any thoughts? Mostly looking for the PvE side of things in 25man-raids in TBC, could care less about PvP, as Hunters are wicked in PvP, and Druids are good support. But would a druid be more viable than a hunter in the new proposed Arena settings? (5v5, 4v4, 3v3, 2v2)
