just curious, would you share of often (like per min/hour/whatever) it actually procs?

I mean, this should be a killer in the hands of a rogue right? whats your thought on it?

Also, to crawl up your a** a lil, i think your one of the people that actually know what they talk about when it comes down to warrior builds.

I have a question for ya ( and anybody else is entitled to give their opinion too ofcourse): why is it that everybody that is going fury always thinks that has to go with dual wield?

I mean shouldn't a flurry build be great with a 2H because of the high DMg on a slow weapon now getting a speed boost?

Also as a shield wielding warrior i often have trouble to build on rage. Now with bloodthirst i seem to generate a lot more rage with the 1st strike, and ofcourse also with the "flurry speed" do i not generate rage much faster?

well, thats just thoughts, and you beeing one of the greater critics to most builds besides MS i think should provide some thinking from another standpoint.

well, if you dont care, dont bother.

the deathstriker proc's [at lvl 60] about once every level 55 elite fight [devlisaur's].

So basically once a fight on average.

That's about as close as I can get. I think it's somewhere in the realm of once every 20 seconds, sometimes more. Farming non-elites for essences and the like, I always get one proc, sometimes 2-3.

It would be killer in the hands of a rogue, as soon as you see/hear the proc, you can hit one or two sinister strikes for full critical damage. Same for mortal strike, I'm currently trying to get a high top-end damage weapon for my main hand. I've pulled 900-1k hits with my 129 damage mace and heroic strike while enraged and proc'd.

I appreciate the compliment. It seems as if I went back on what I said earlier about dual wield, but I wouldn't consider it without this dagger; even with the dagger, I still find dw to be way too sketchy. I'm just trying to make it work.

Fury best suits a dual wielder because you will get more crits with it. Each crit hits for less, but you get more of them, so that would technically even it out, except that every crit = 30% haste. So instead of hoping for a 2h crit that might not happen for 15s, you could very well be hasted for 8-10 seconds of that. I've ran my fury spec with Rend's polearm, gravestone axe, dreadforge, and caer darrow blade. They all do marginally well and perform at a much more consistent pace, but the dual wield seems to take off when you start chaining flurry. The other problem is that you can't get to weapon specs in arms because of how far down the list flurry is.

I have bloodthirst in my current testing spec, and it is flimsy at best. Half the time I get bugged to the point where I can't gain BT anymore without relogging. In a group situation, you will usually have to execute to get the killing shot, and then you're just doing a double damage one-handed hit on your next swing. It's basically like getting a crit hit on the first swing. It does generate rage, but I don't feel it is worthy of being the highest talent in the fury tree.

Hope that answers everything.

Why don't you use rend's mainhand (unless it just has't dropepd for you)?

Nastier swing damage and a crit chance to help proc flurry.

oh well, yea , thanks for the input.

though i personally do not like the idea of a dual wielding berserk warrior, i do think you should be able to play one. ( i am more of the "weakling" Instance warrior)

For my self, with the help of input of this board (namely a poster called inconsiderable, kudos at this point) i have found a viable build for a PvP defspecc warrior going, with mace spec, the idea is a "stun-warrior" with A LOT of armor. it is fun though of course not as viable as MS.

Blizzard should fix so all non fubar builds is viable in pvp/pvm.
Somthig is wrong if only 1 talent build is working 100% and the rest of them is random or crap ;).

That's the exact same mods as the Heartseeker is it not? I'm making arcanite now in hopes of making a few of those if the receipe is still around.
