Kalimdor's revenge? opinions needed

any opinions on this swd? im due for the next item drop...we can kill c'thun, but i really really love swd spec and wasnt sure if i should go for kalimdors or ashkandi?

or would i be a total dee dee dee for not taking a dark edge if it dropped first? i have a HoJ but would totally miss the insta-kills swd spec provides in PvP

Kalimdor's Revenge is most likely better then your current 2-hander, but the thing is Kalimdors autoattacks hit like a girl, sure MS and so on are pretty decent and adding 270 shock damage to them is nice. Kalimdors procs fair amount but meh ever since 1.12 i haven't had a single sword spec spam proc rapes so Axes would be better i guess. =\

EDIT: ah you have Untamed. :P well its for sure an upgrade then but imo wait for DEoI.

yeah i currently have untamed...

we have already had a Dark Edge drop, but only 3 ashkandi in tons of nef kills (1 went to a hunter...grrrrr)

ive had swd procs pretty decently since the patch, had a Hoj proc into a swd proc in AB...was swd spec supposed to be nerfed?

we arent too far into naxx...can kill razuvious and anub, thats it so far

Save for Ashkandi/Dark Edge of Insanity, but if your desperate get Kalimdors for slight dkp but still have your aim on those 2 or Naxx weapons. :P

Patch notes said sword spec would no longer be able to proc itself, not sure if it actually worked correctly this time or not tho as I haven't played a warr with a sword in a while.

Hrm I can't find it anymore now, but I swear I read it in there somewhere that sword spec would no longer proc itself.
