A guildmate told me to read some interview, and while I don't normally care what Horde guilds do, I read it to humor him. In the interview, I noticed you had quite an interesting idea on Paladins. That they act as high-defense healers, rather than tanks.

As my Warlock nears 60, I find myself wanting an alt.. I wanted to make a Holy Priest, since I plan on PvPing on my Warlock, but repeating the whole cloth armor thing didn't appeal to me.. I'd never thought of using a Paladin as a pure healer, ignoring what everyone assumes is his role in a party.

So, I'm putting your idea to practice.. Know that there's at least one Paladin out there who didn't choose the class because of the claims of unbalance.

playing the paladin as a pure healer makes him more imbalanced if you look at it from a group perspective... Especially 5on5 pvp

I dunno.. I took a look at the talent tree last night. There are not very many talents that boost the healing line of spells, and taking the few that do seriously cripple damage and defense abilities.

Paladins sure are complicated compared to my Warlock :p.. Seals, Judgements, Auras, etc etc..
