A friend in China asked me to publish this incredible rogue PVP video, featuring Corrupt, the highest rated Rogue in WOW China (and probably one of the best rogues in the world). Nightmare X is his latest work, a compilation of best footages from his very own Nightmare series.

World PVP - Corrupt taking on 3 or more opponents, often at same time. There is a special scene where the hero kills 7 enemies in a row, paying homage to the legendary Shurrik whose work inspired Corrupt (and many other players in CWOW) to create his character in the first place.

1v1 Duels - Corrupt taking on rogue's worst nightmares. Undead Shadow Priest with 5500 health and 500 spell damage. 31 frost mage with 5100 health and grenades. Tier 3 orc hunter. Warlock with 6600 health. Orc warrior with Ashkandi. All of his 1v1 opponents are extremely well geared and skilled. Corrupt demonstrates some truly unique techniques that is rarely seen anywhere else.

Don't miss this video, it is probably the best rogue PVP video I have ever watched, and I have seen them all. It is the rare video that has everything. Unsouled saw it and said Corrupt is better than Perkulator.

he isn't that good. lame tentacle stun action, ganking noobs in th and dueling warriors who don't know about shields. i am a better warrior o_O (and i play on Shurriks server ;))
i bet, the casters took quite some tries.

Anyway, pretty nice movie. But tbh I prefer Hector's over this.

one flaw i found was that when additional players start attacking him while hes fighting another, he always switches to the "new" target rapidly. perhaps just to check out, whether hes low on health already. this might be a nice idea, but at least once in the movie, hes got 5 cp and coldblood activated (so everyones waiting for the crit. evi). at that moment, a rogue attacks and he switches to the rogue and loses all his cp. that was true pain in my eye. couldnt he have waited 1 more second to do another ~1300 dmg to the paly and then look whether the rogues low on health? :(

but of course, its a nice video althou i must admit, the only "new" thing i saw in there was the gouge -> cripple poison stuff, the rest was quite known to me. but nice video nonetheless

A very good vid if you ask me. It's rare you get to see some good outdoor ganking - because, come on admit, battlegrounds do blow.

And about his gameplay it's nothing extraordinary to merit some BEST ROGUE CHINA ;;-_- title or whatever if you ask me. When you reach a certain stage in your movie making the only thing that will make you excell is time, and preferably lots of it. Just look at WoR for a prime example.

One of these days Mute is releasing another movie after having had a pause for a few months, given so much time and such a dedicated guy my bet is he preped naked a few R14 ppl. But it doesnt mean he is more skilled than other advanced rogues, it just means he's put more time into it to fraps. The skill level in WoW is only so high and the outcome is more often than not dependant on circumstances/dice rolls which you cannot control.

Ok that was a bit off-topic I guess. I liked corrupts vid.

I agree with Hector. You can only get so good at WoW and after that it's basically all up to style. (and luck).
