Hand of Rag or Thunderfury

Ok so i was asked which i would prefer last night by the head hanco of my guild. Trouble is im not sure which i would like.. as a warrior i could pvp / pve dmg / pvp with thunderfury, but only our MT has it atm (both bindings in 1 mc). Where as HoR i could pve dmg (<3 aedak) and pvp. I am fury atm but cant make the decision >.<

Do you have any desire to be a primary tank? If yes take thunderfury, if no don't take it.

Well i am some what one of our most active warriors in the guild. Does it really pull that much aggro vs constant 2k crits with a hand of rag?

you're misunderstanding me. Thunderfury is still argueably the best tank weapon in the game due to the debuff associated with the proc.

For main tanks the Faerlina sword is better, and thunderfury becomes a good offhand for fury warriors and rogues.

Im not going to be MT or anything, our MT just got both bindings. Im talking damage mainly (i could klutch tank with tf though)

Faerlina sword still gives more stamina, and stamina > some thunderfury aggro which the main tank doesn't need to MT, unless he sucks.

TF is just good for Enrage mobs (TF > Maexxna) so i would just get it if i would be maintank ( i would puke if my raid had 4 or 5 tf hi @ procville).

But i would get tf just because it looks kickass.

Since Ashkandi became a common weapon, and even more so when AQ40 was released.

i think, since the change to TF in the next patch, it has become more attractive for fury warriors again, but to be honest, these "legendary" weapons arent that exciting anymore. to my mind at least

Thunderfury is better and will help your guild progress.
But if you use some suckass weapon then take HoR I guess, your call. There's like, let's see, 5 other weapons with the same-ish damage but better stats and spec around though.
