one of my classes is a mage. and i was very happy when i got my azuresong mageblade. comparing this weapon with other available gear, even stuff from bwl/aq 40 often made the impression, its one of the best available 1 handed weapons for mages/locks in wow. to me at least.
but still, i often see really geared out warlocks or mages with completed t2 or even aq 40 stuff carrying the BLOODCALLER. am i retarded or is azuresong mageblade way better than the bloodcaller? of course, the blood caller looks awesome, but how come, so many use it instead of azuresong? i can hardly believe that the azuresong is SO RARE that none of them ever had the chance to get it, especially since theyre geared out t2 etc. so theyre not frightened to put some work into items.
one example i just saw is a screenshot of nurfed in front of the twin emperors and ziot riding his bug-mount and carrying the blood caller.
can somebody please uncover the mystery?
