Honestly, is there any reason to play anything but a warrior given equal gear between all classes and epic'd out? in general terms of group pvp dynamic, and barring duels, of course.

True.. unfortunately i'm in the majority that dps is my bag. I like pretty big #'s. Healers though, are definitely a god send to a warrior. I'm just saying that it seems like warrior is the trump card to every class.. you never can really dominate a well geared warrior, at least from what i've seen...

ahh, i saw him mention when someone asked why, that his reply was along the lines of looking at naxx loot for warriors. I've only been to BWL so i was clueless. I didn't know if it was cause it was bad or it was severely OP.

Only reason would be that it's a relatively simple, pick-up-and-go class.

Ahh, I guess I just hear from everyone how epic warriors are retarded end game, i.e. rank 14 weps/ashkandi and what have you.. It's hard for me to judge personally because I'm a combat dagger rogue and only the skilless decent geared ones i usually beat, i get 2-4 shotted quite frequently if I don't execute uber stunlock. But that is the nature of that matchup and I accepted that. What do warriors struggle against? I hear even mages bitching about it only takes like 2 hits as well to die from one.

it's every class that can pull out some serious dps when the gear level is high enough. i played on eu ptr after my account expired for some time and the dps was ridiculious. sitting in a fn a rogue is going to be raped by two mages in a few secs. 2 frostbolts crits + 2 fireblasts = dead rogue
same shit different class: dual ambush with pugio (which has 12 dps less than kingsfall) insta killed ptr mages and a single ambush with kingsfall and appropriate gear will do "almost" the same. not to mention those nice wf rapes that will happen with mom and 1.3k ap (without shout). no matter if it's an ele shaman or shadow priest or whatever, dps is just too fucking stupid. some classes' dps is more ridiculous than other classes' dps but it's a problem of the game right now.

it'll probably turn to good account within burning crusade but it's doubtful. though dps scaling faster than survivability is a problem of most mmorpgs and it's probably hard to balance out.
