Arcane Power/Frost for PVE ?

I heard someone mentioned it was very good for pve. can anyone confirm this ?

Only thing I know that in my former guild the mages used to be frost in order to Ice Block when they got aggro.

this build looks bad b/c u increase your dmg and remove a aggro reduction talent but for pve dmg is it good even though its dangerous ?

depends on what youre raiding. mc/bwl -> frost
aq20/40, zg, naxx -> fire

in MY opinion, arcane isnt worth it anymore. in mc or bwl, iceblock can be handy for u guys (magecall @ nef etc), but in aq etc., i find fire more appealing. u can of course put the rest of your talent points in a bit frost, e.g. the +6 hit stuff and the rest arcane.
i actually went elemental, but that has pvp reasons too
