Hi everyone,

I'm currently thinking about a warrior template, and aftersome research I found this build to be interesting:

-Arms Talents (21 points)

Deflection - 2/5 points
Increases your Parry chance by 2%. (lack of points to get to 5% parry increase, I prefer to max deep wounds instead)

Improved Rend - 3/3 points
Increases the bleed damage done by your Rend ability by 35%. (pre req for deep wounds, also a good move to use instead of HS)

Tactical Mastery - 5/5 points
You retain up to 25 of your rage points when you change stances.

Improved Overpower - 2/2 points
Increases the critical strike chance of your Overpower ability by 50%.

Deep Wounds - 3/3 points
Your critical strikes cause the opponent to bleed, dealing 60% of your melee weapon's average damage over 12 seconds. (i'm going for a critical based template, so i thought this one could be good)

Two-Handed Weapon Specialization - 5/5 points
Increases the damage you deal with two-handed weapons melee weapons by 5%. (useful or not ? was wondering if this mods applied on crits)

Axe Specialization - 1/5 point
Increases your chance to get a critical strike with Axes by 1%. (I know 1% is not much, but I can't afford more if I want to max Flurry, and 1% is better than nothing imho ^^)

-Fury Talents (30 points)

Cruelty - 5/5 points
Increases your chance to get a critical strike with melee weapons by 5%.

Improved Demoralizing Shout - 5/5 points
Increases the attack power reduction of your Demoralizing Shout by 25%.

Piercing Howl - 1/1 point
Causes all enemies near the warrior to be dazed for 6 seconds.

Improved Battle Shout - 5/5 points
Increases the Attack Power bonus of your Battle Shout by 25%.

Improved Cleave - 3/3 points
Increases the bonus damage done by your Cleave ability by 60%.

Enrage - 5/5 points
Gives you a 40% melee damage bonus for 4 swings any time you are the victim of a critical strike. (pre req for flurry...)

Improved Intercept - 1/2 point
Reduces the cooldown of your Intercept ability by 5 seconds.

Flurry - 5/5 points
Increases your attack speed by 30% for your next 3 swings after dealing a critical strike.

-Protection Talents (0 points)

None

I'm planning on using a two handed Axe most of the time so i threw some points in two handed weapons and axe mastery for the added dmg/crit, even though i don't know if it's viable.
My combat strategy is based on crits and low rage consuming moves (rend, overpower, etc... even though this op is a must have for every template :)) so i can keep my rage for vital moves (i.e: pummel or execute). I know DW could get more crit during a fight but i heard the miss rate is awful and I need big dmgs to really benefit from some skills (deep wounds, retaliation, overpower...).

I'm playing on a pvp server and i plan to pvp a lot in the future (currently lvl 15). To finish, on the choice of the race, i'm UD but i was wondering if trolls aren't better for a warrior ? regen, the +dmg against beasts, plus the higher agi and str and their racial power isn't better than WoF and the higher spirit of the UD ?
UD are cool looking though but i like trolls also, so fun factor doesn't really matter in this dilemna.

There, if you could comment my build and try to answer my questions, i would really appreciate it.

Thanks by advance.

If your not DWing, there isn't much point in going Flurry. You need something to do damage with, and Heroic Strike is GOD AWFUL for 2handers. You REALLY need Mortal Strike with a 2-hander.

Duelwielding gives about same damage/rage from heroic strike as Mortal Strike, so Flurry is much better for it.

Race doesn't really matter. Racial stat differences become inconsequential in long run. In PvP you'll get feared a lot, so the UD racial power is better I'd say, since we can't always be in Berserker for Berserker Rage.
