switching to Nurfed UI from Cosmos

Cosmos kills my game in the memory department and I have heard that the nurfed UI is a bit better with memory management. Anywho, I am a UI nubber so just a quick question before I mess something up:

Do I need to "uninstall" cosmos before installing nurfed UI? If so, how would I go about doing that?

Just go backwards. How did you "install" cosmos?

I ran this patcher thing... I didn't see a uninstall option on it tho :?

patcher... hmmm... i never heard about this one...

Try to go to your "/wow/interface/" and delete *.*
then go to "/wow/" and delete all files that look strange :twisted: ... like cosmos.exe, I don't think there are any more tho ^^

just becouse you didnt see it the first time doesnt me it isnt there.. I recall Cosmos should have an Uninstall option, if there aint one i think you need to reinstall the whole game since Cosmos probably edit alot of files since it sux.

When you start cosmos.exe press Configure, in that menu there is a button called Uninstall UI down to the right.

On the bright side, I really like the Nurfed UI. My game seems to even run smoother than it did with cosmos.
