Everyone going Subtelity i'd guess, too bad they didn't make Vigor give 20 energy and remove the 5 piece NS setbonus. =\

Using Daggers?

No opportunity, imp backstab, imp gouge, and imp ambush is kinda rough, but your total skill package is pretty complete.

Deadliness is a solid talent but it seems to mean giving up some talents I previously thought were pretty essential for a dagger rogue.

Finally, another reason for me to go hemo.

Human rogue sword spec for PVE?

Still can't decide between that and this:

I like that build, but why imp slice & dice instead of something useful, like Blade flurry?

They're both kinda horrible in my opinion, but its all preference, just that you have some useless talents put in. Are you going for full on Pve? or both PvP/PvE

full raiding....if I went pvp I'd do something stupid like (posted this on my guild forum):

Deadly Poison 5 with talents = 782 over 12sec
Garrote (50% increase) = 1050 over 24sec
Improved Rupture = 351 over 6sec

So let's say you Garrote for 2pts (Intiative), vanish, cheapshot for 3, rupture for 5points and beat on them for the 4 seconds. Let's also assume with supersexy luck you land all 5 deadly poisons (40% chance on each hit/ability).

Let's say you don't feel like fighting anymore, you're done with him. So you use premeditation and vanish and watch. Assuming you did NO damage besides the poisons/garrote/rupture, you just did 3047 damage. Assuming a normal amount of hits during that 4 seconds, you've done ~3500 damage after 4 seconds of a combat versus a stunned opponent who has a 40% chance he can't dispel the poisons.

Owned?

Now let's say during that 4 seconds you start getting some combo points - Ghostly Strike, sinister, etc. Then you burn a kidney shot. Let's say that takes you 15 seconds. For the next 9 seconds, you're gonna deal 9% more damage with all the rupture/poison/garrote and your normal attacks. It'd only add like 150 dmg from the DOTs though, which sucks.

Still pissed I can't get sword spec and deadliness

i your full raiding, why would you want to spec eviscerate and seal fate? having S/D up 24/7 + spamming SS should give you more damage.

I was considering testing something like this for full PvP (dagger max damage spec/survivability)...

http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/rogues2/talents.html?3353001050003003043002020000000000450 050000000000000

or maybe something like this (dagger crit/weapon skill)...

http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/rogues2/talents.html?3253201050003003033252020500000200000 000000000000000

That close and no Cold Blood?

Yeah, I know it seems a little odd not to get CB being that close. I've always used it in all my specs over the 6+ rogues I've played, but I'm in an experimental phase and CB wasn't a huge must on my list.

This... http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/rogues2/talents.html?3353001050013003043002020000000000350 050000000000000

...might be a better alternative for the first spec. One point from MoD to CB.

I was going to suggest the same thing.
