Question about argent dawn trinket

Simple question, why do people equip this?
isnt that wasting a trinket space for a something of use? or am I missing out on something

You get quest stones from the undead in plaguelands while wearing it. 550 exp for 20 minion, 10 medium, or 1 high stone, plus argent dawn tokens for faction (and a special argent dawn shop, which has no items yet).

it allows collection of scourge/corruptor/minion tokens, which can be turned in for reputation/items that, in the future, can be redeemed for better items.

anyways.. once people hit 'revered', they usually take the trinket off. and they also have no need to use the trinket if they aren't fighting in the plaguelands.

You have to equip it in order to pick up the 3 types of scourge-stones that are turned into the Argent Dawn NPCs for faction rewards. A lot of players equip it while playing/questing/raiding in the Plaguelands, and then sometimes forget to take it back off when they go elsewhere, which is why you sometimes see them wearing it (as a buff icon or in thottbot profiles) in a screenshot or whatever. Most people forget to switch it out, or their profile got captured while they were wearing it.

thanks for the info, I turned in the stones once for that quest, can you do it multiple times?

Yes, you can continue to turn in scourgestones in batches of 10 or 20 (depending on the type) for the tokens. You can right-click the tokens to apply it to your faction, and then when you get to revered, you can buy things from the Argent Dawn vendors, including the high end mana/heal potions. I haven't seen other rare 'items' that they're supposedly going to offer those with revered or better faction. Some of us worked for a couple nights to up our factions just to buy the potions.
