Question about the red Icons at a greater Distance

Its a nice feature of the nurfed Bars that Icons become red colored at a greater distance to the target.
Now my question: How can i get this feature at the normal MainMenuBar?
I have installed the nurfed ui and only the icons at the nurfed Bars become red colored. :/

The icon becomes red if you don't have it hotkeyed, if you do have it hotkeyed then the letters become red and not the icon.

I like the red icons more than the red letters...

Is there really no way to make the icons red instead of the letter? I compose an UI for my guild and i have many requests for this feature.

It's probably possible, as most things are, i just have to look at it. I spend a lot of time playing now since we raid something every night, so i don't have much time to work on the UI till things slow down a little, which should be when we start raiding Onyxia and Ragnaros.

I'm confused. ALL of my bars (even the main blizzard bar, but in the nurfed style) have red icons at a far distance. i thought this was done by abinfo, abinfo nurfedbars, and abinfo blizzardbars.

of course, i have too many addons to know what does what anymore.

also, if those don't do it, i used to use a mod (dont' anymore since *something* else is doing it) called Range Recolor. you can check it out here: http://www.curse-gaming.com/mod.php?addid=985

note that there are other mods that do the same type of thing and i have no idea if this one still works correctly.
