It was great, I had a blast.
Was fun to attack SS from various locations, water, mountains, road. At any rate, I think we've won pretty much every encounter and skirmish.
Our group had so many mages that we destroyed every bunch of guards in seconds and they hardly ever meant anything during the fight.
I think me and FuLeng killed so many guards that if the honor system was working, we'd be grand protectors of UC and Org! =)
Here are a few pictures.

I wanted to get a pic of many alliance and horde in same time.

That's at Xroads, notice FuLeng, a mage, charging up Alliance ranks by himsef =p, he did live to tell the tale.

I will admit, after much bitching and whining, I was really glad the guys talked me into going on this trip. I swore I was retired from doing the "Hillsbrad Shuffle" as I affectionately call it, but this time ended up working out very nicely and we got a great raid team going that just happened to have the right components for taking over Southshore, namely a lot of mages to AE the guards and priests to keep everyone shielded/healed.
Here's what I said in the other thread someone asked about how to get into Nurfed groups when we mostly only group with guild only regarding last night:
"Last night we showed up late for the party and took over Southshore for a good solid hour or two and had a decent sized raid group going. We later commented (within the guild) on the skill many of the players demonstrated in that raid... Following directions, maneuvering into position, and group cohesion between 4 almost full groups was excellent. We had priests in each group shielding several mages so we could AE the Southshore guards while the rest concentrated on steadily pushing the alliance further and further towards the docks and cutting them off from both sides, with water-walking horde on the other end. Thanks Scorch and Fuleng for helping run that well done mini-event. "
The tides really turned (water tide!) when Engel showed up and put water walking on everyone and we hung out in the lagoon beyond the Southshore docks waiting to draw attention. Pretty soon the rest of the horde raid showed up and we let them take over that side while we circled around to come in from the opposite side. This squeeze tactic worked really well, was a lot of fun and we took out the Griffon master a few times, effectively cutting off reinforcements flying in. We did this for a couple of hours before going to Crossroads to quickly clean out the remains of the Conquest raid there and calling it a victorious night.
I plan to do more of this soon, see you ingame.

Envie did a better summary than me =p
Envie, you didn't give yourself the proper credit, your healing was exceptional!
The second half of the fight I got bored of frostbolting ppl from far away just to see them runa way out of my range, so i just started runing right into a bunch of alliance and letting AE rip, I woulda been so dead if not for your timely heals/shields =)

Being banned from wow sucks =\ wish I was there on my paly...

Killing the southshore gryphon stops people from flying in? I thought it only stops them from flying out...I haven't been banned that long, but has it changed?

Suits you right.
You either didn't read any of it, love kali, still pissed that I didn't help you get your horde mount, or still angry at me ganking your priest...I'm done with you, all you seem to do is follow me around, from forum to forum, replying to my threads, no matter how valid, with sheer stupidity...
You stay in your corner, I'll stay in mine, k?

I read it, I just don't like you. I have nothing against Nebu, nor am I siding with him. The bans we're pretty lame, yes, but maybe you shouldn't have continued to tease him. You know, boys do anything they can to show their power

Oh btw, I sympathize with you though, being unable to play must indeed really suck.

Can't we all just get along?
I would look for some good Family Guy quote for this thread, but the only thing popping in my head is "Giggity Giggity" :D.

In carebears some referred to us as "Swedes and their drama" for all the silly stuff that made the guild die not once, but twice! Guess swedish drama needs more swedes to balance it :(

Hehe, I get along with everyone cept kali =] I know Avril, from the days he played alliance...Not exactly sure why he hates me, I know we've some arguments, but didn't think it would be anything everlasting >_<
Besides, wow forums I'm banned from, and don't like the fact that 2 minute forum violations got me banned...So I'll probably never post there again =\

Yea, imagine...I have like 50-60 days of playtime on that account, and I'm a paladin waiting to get my talents.

Was the last thing I got to do in wow, haha...Nope, we lost =]
Actually, I don't hate anyone. It's the other way around for most parts, (read the part about swedes and their drama, I sure know how to create a lot of drama - hi paul)

I don't particularly like you, but I found the apparent preferential treatment by GMs of GFrazier's characters alarming. This is about the third time there was a clear and suspicious GM action resulting from a wish or complaint from GFrazier which resulted in suspension or banning of a player.
I don't have the other links handy, but one was during a period where GFrazier's guild was camping TM and violating the 3 death rule, which the GMs had failed to respond to petitions about. One of the horde players said 'Damn' in a shout, GFrazier said "You're reported =)" and within moments a gm contacted the horde player, and suspended him for 3 hours without the prior warning which is listed in the guidelines. This was documented in detail at the time.
There were other examples that I don't recall at the moment, and I didn't take notes about it. I do recall that he's had his character name changed several times - so he's certainly got at least -that much- gm ability or access to it.
Your experience with the GMs aggressively interpreting the guidelines to benefit GFrazier is not unique.
Just based on my limited experiences seeing these situations evolve secondhand, it looks corrupt. This and the naming policy and the inconsistent enforcement of the naming policy are the only things that I consider a failure about WoW.
I think regardless of our opinions about one another - Blizzard overlooking potential abuse by its GMs and employees is not a good thing. Before you laugh at another player's misfortune, think carefully about what this means. If the GMs really are willing and able to act partially, this game could be headed for serious trouble.
If things are as they appear, and I don't see how they can be much different as it seems like a pattern now, we've got a situation where the GMs aren't watched closely enough to stop them from preferential abuse of powers. I am sure I don't have to make up hypothetical situations to describe how unpleasant this situation could be.
Apologies for the off-topic post. This happens to be a pet peeve subject of mine.

naming policy for sure, i love hoh he has a char named Shiva which is the god of destruction and apparently no GMs do anything about it even though its illegal as it involves religion(Hindu), but they make a guy change his name from Iraur because they think its too similar too I Roar.
